AGROTRADE representatives addressed the conference Risks and counteraction to fraud

At the invitation of the organizers AGROTRADE Group representatives shared the successful experience of introducing the Cropio monitoring system with the participants of the IV Annual Agrarian Conference “Risks and Counteraction to fraud”, which was held in Kyiv on April 5.

The Head of the Security Department of AGROTRADE Group, Oleksandr Khomenko, said: “The Cropio system allows you to control all processes related to accounting and movement of inventories, all works that are carried out on agricultural enterprises. Therefore, the organizers asked us to share our experience with other companies participating in the conference, including the largest Ukrainian agroholdings.”

Oleksandr Korobka, the Head of the Technical Service of the Security Department of AGROTRADE Group, told in his report about the technical and organizational aspects of the implementation of Cropio, the integrated plant control and management system.

“From the reaction of the audience and the question raised, it was evident that the report was of great interest,” he stressed. “Many agricultural companies use monitoring systems, but these are either mapping services for land bank accounting and control, or systems for monitoring equipment and fields. We have both those things, it is an integrated approach.”

Already in 2014 in AGROTRADE was developed the concept of integrated inventory accounting; were studied and tested different monitoring systems and was made the conclusion that the American system CROPIO is the best for today. It consists of the following elements:

– A set of tools for remote control of agricultural land: operational monitoring of the condition of sown areas, autodocumentation, crop yield projections and planning of agricultural operations;

– Evaluation of the state of crops. Field information is regularly updated on the basis of images taken by more than ten satellite systems;

– A set of tools for operational monitoring and effective equipment control.

In addition, AGROTRADE integrated Cropio with the accounting system 1C in 2017, that allowed the company`s document circulation to be transparent and convenient.
