AGROTRADE exported flour to the countries of the Middle East for the first time



AGROTRADE Group has opened a new export market – the Middle East. The first countries to export flour were Israel and Palestine. There was sent the first shipment of higher-grade flour in amount of 245 tons. The customer was the largest operator of Ukrainian flour in Israel.

AGROTRADE Group has its own wheat flour mill, located on the territory of Gadyatsky silo, one of the largest in Ukraine. The shop produces flour of the highest, the first and the second grades, as well as granulated wheat bran. The main buyers of the company`s products in the domestic market are in Kiev, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, Poltava oblasts.

In the future, AGROTRADE plans to continue supplying flour to the countries of the Middle East, as well as to enter the markets of Africa, Southeast Asia and Moldova. “Our aim is to becom successful exporters of not only raw materials but also processing products. At present, our potential is more than 2000 tons of flour per month,” commented Olena Vorona, Chief Financial Officer of AGROTRADE Group.


In the 2015-2016 marketing year, deliveries of flour from Ukraine increased by 32.5%. At the same time, Ukraine remains an outsider on the value of exported grain, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). According to the Union of Millers of Ukraine, Turkey is the world leader in flour exports, though it re-exports Ukrainian products to the third countries.
